Norstat now offers the MINI CX PLUS a mini photoelectric sensor with a high degree of detection accuracy and a range up to 25 meters.
The CXPlus mini photoelectric sensor is available in two models, a reflective version and a Thru-Beam version with the 7m reflective version utilizing a red light source and the 15m reflective and 25m thru-beam version using an Infra-Red light source. These sensors utilize a user friendly programming system along with a magnetic key for sensing distance adjustments thereby eliminating the need for physical buttons and providing a higher degree of protection. The CXPlus also has a noise filter system that protects it against ambient electrical noise and florescent lighting up to 2000 Hz.
The compact housing is made of resistant thermoplastic with a protection rating of IP67 assuring a high degree of protection which makes it ideal for use around machinery or applications where there may be oil or water contamination. Connection is via 3 wire cable or 4 pin, M8 or M12 connector and signaling is from 4 LED’s covered by a see-thru visor and visible from several meters. The CXPlus is designed to use up to 40% less power than comparable sensors and can accurately operate in temperatures from -5°C to +55°C.
