Norstat now offers the OHE1, a Magnetic, Non-Contact Safety Switch that incorporates on board RGB LED’s for advanced switch diagnostics.
The OHE1 from Mechan Controls is a stand-alone, non-contact safety switch with 2 OSSD safety outputs and 1 NC contact that is capable of switching 2A at 24Vdc. The OHE1 is a magnetically coded switch which is suitable for series connection of up to 30 switches while still maintaining PL-e. The OHE1 includes dual RGB LEDs for advanced on-switch diagnostics and the overhanging design improves visibility in awkward mounting positions. These switches are available with 3, 6 or 10 meter pre-wired cables and can also be used with an EDM (external device monitor¬ing) to monitor the state of the contactors or safety relays in order to detect failures eliminating the need for a safety monitoring device.
The OHE1 has a black ABS, resin encapsulated body that has a protection rating of IP 67 / IP 69K and can operate in temperatures of -10° C to +60° C making it ideal for use in wet or harsh environment applications.
