Norstat, Inc. now offers the AD SRE4, a Safety Interface designed for E-Stop and Safety Switch monitoring. The AD SRE4 Safety Interface from ReeR is specifically designed for the monitoring of E-Stops and Safety Switches. They utilize guided-contact safety relays and EDM feedback input for external contactors monitoring. These interfaces have the choice of Automatic / Manual Start / Restart and can be used up to safety category 4, PLe according to EN ISO 13849-1.
The AD SRE4 utilizes terminal block connections with a response time of < 50 ms and operates off of 24 VDC power. It has 3 NO + 1NC safety relay outputs and utilizes LED’s for status, diagnostic indication and power. It has a MTTFD of 71 years and can operate in temperatures from -25° to +55° C.
