The EOS 4 is a Cat. 4 Light Curtain capable of detecting a finger, hand, or an entire body. The EOS 4 features easy connection and installation thanks to its standard M12 connectors. These intuitive Light Curtains come equipped with 2 safety PNP static outputs as well as hardware configuration capability which eliminates programming.
The EOS 4 features a rugged aluminum housing that measures only 30 x 28 mm and includes models with integrated safety functions, self-monitoring of static outputs as well as an automatic / manual selectable restart function. Master/Slave versions are available as are vibration resistant and explosion proof / ATEX models. A special watertight, food grade, IP69K version is also available for heavy washdown applications. The EOS 4 has a protection rating of IP 65 / IP 67 and can operate in temperature ranges from -10° C to +55° C . All these features make the EOS 4 an ideal solution for robotic cells, assembly lines, food processing as well as cutting, punching, or pressing applications.
