The ES EMERGENCY STOP UNITS from Mechan Controls are designed to deliver a reliable and compliant stop function for machinery and automation applications.
These ES EMERGENCY STOP UNITS are designed for manufacturing and automation applications where safe, consistent Emergency Stops are warranted. These ES units can come with or without a padlockable shroud to deter accidental restart during maintenance. The ES1 & ES2 can be operated by pressing the emergency stop button (Red), and it can then be reset by twisting the emergency stop button. The ES2 functions the same way as the ES1 but with an added button which can be configured as a Stop/Start/Restart button. Both the ES1 & ES2 use force guided contacts, which allow them to be safely guarded and adhere to the machinery directive.
The ES1 & ES2 units are available in ABS, or 316 Stainless Steel housing making them ideal for harsh environments or high demand applications. The high-visibility design ensures operators can quickly locate the switch while the robust design ensures long term durability. These switches are easy to install and with correct installation comply with the guidelines given in EN60947-5-1.
