Norstat, Inc. now offers the HED SERIES of safety switches. A Safety switch system designed for monitoring dual door guarding systems.
Mechan Controls’ MS8-D, HED, and HE2-D safety switches are designed to simplify machine safety on dual-door guarding systems by allowing a single switch to monitor two gates simultaneously with one switch. This solution helps to reduce installation time, wiring, and costs without compromising safety performance. Both doors must be closed for safety outputs to engage the 2 x N/O + 1 N/C solid state outputs.
These switches utilize ABS plastic or Stainless steel housings with built in LED indication for easy fault diagnosis. All switches are magnetically coded and carry a protection rating of IP 67 and IP 69K making them ideal for harsh environments or wash down applications. These switches can operate in temperatures from -25° to +55° C.
