Norstat now offers a line of Inductive Proximity Sensors with full stainless steel housings and sensing faces making them an ideal solution for harsh environments.
The FME ( M8 plug cable exit ) and FMM ( M12 plug cable exit ) series of inductive proximity sensors comes standard with a full AISI 316L stainless steel housing and sensing face making these sensors ideal for harsh environments or applications where a sensor with a higher degree of protection is required. The FME & FMM lines are available with nominal sensing distances of 2 mm for the FME and 3 mm for the FMM and operating distances of 1.62 mm for the FME and 2.43 mm for the FMM. Both the FME and FMM series come standard with LED indication for output status.
These connectors are available with Logic status of PNP, NPN – NO or NC or NO+NC. Both sensors are shock and vibration resistant to IEC 60947-5-2, have an impact resistance rating of IK 05, an ambient operating temperature range of -25° C to +70° C and carry a Protection rating of IP 67 / IP 68 / IP 69K.
