The Mosaic M1 from ReeR Safety is a revolutionary, modular, and configurable, Safety Controller that can manage an array of safety functions ranging from a solitary machine to the operations of an entire plant. Mosaic M1 can easily manage multiple devices including safety sensors, Light curtains, photocells, laser scanners, E-stops, electromechanical switches, guard-lock safety door switches, magnetic switches, RFID switches, safety mats and edges as well as two-hands controls and hand grip switches. It also allows for tamper-proof system configurations since all logic is configured through a graphic interface. Thanks to the Mosaic ’s modular and expandable structure it is possible to adapt its I/O configuration and functionality to the demands of each application.
The Mosaic M1 has 8 digital inputs ( 2 for start/restart, 2 pairs OSSD safety outputs, 2 status outputs and 4 test outputs for short circuit monitoring ). It also has a field bus interface with MBx modules. The Mosaic M1 carries a protection rating of IP 20 for housing and IP 2X for the terminal blocks and can operate in temperatures from -10°C to 55°C.
