Mosaic is a revolutionary, modular, and configurable, Safety Controller that is capable of managing an array of safety functions ranging from a solitary machine to the operations of an entire plant.
The Mosaic from ReeR can easily manage multiple safety devices including safety sensors such as Light curtains, photocells, laser scanners, emergency stops, electro-mechanical switches, guard-lock safety door switches, magnetic switches, RFID switches as well as safety mats and edges, two-hands controls and hand grip switches. It also allows for tamper-proof system configurations since all logic is configured through a graphic interface. Labor intensive wiring and setting up multiple devices is now a thing of the past with the Mosaic controller because using fewer electro-mechanical components means better Performance and therefore, a higher Safety Level. Thanks to the Mosaic ’s modular and expandable structure it is possible to adapt its I/O configuration and functionality to the demands of each application.
The Mosaic from ReeR is DIN rail mountable according to EN 50022-35 standards, has a protection rating of IP 20 for housing and IP 2X for the terminal blocks and can operate in temperatures from -10°C to 55°C making it an ideal choice for a myriad of applications including machine guarding, material handling, robotics and robotic work cells, AGV’s (Automatic Guided Vehicles), palletizing or wrapping systems as well as vertical lift storage systems or rail dependent storage and retrieval equipment.
