The RSS-Series of switches are RFID operated safety switches that utilize a uniquely coded RFID switching system making them an extremely secure non-contact safety switch. The RSS-Series is ‘teach’ enabled and allows for a new actuator to be resynced to one of 4,000,000,000 possible codes, which makes code duplication nearly impossible. With its precise switching and integrated LED status indication, reliable operation and straightforward identification of guard status is assured. The volt free contact outputs make the RSS-Series compatible with most safety relays on the market today.
The RSS-Series of safety switches are available in 5 sizes and 2 housing types including orange ABS or stainless steel versions. Built and sealed to IP67 & IP69K, these switches are ideal for work in harsh environments or wash-down areas making them ideal for use in the food processing, filling, and packing industries as well as other washdown or high risk applications.
