Norstat now offers the SAFE G1 and SAFE G2. These multi-function safety relays with selectable properties have been designed specifically for use with Electro Sensitive Protective Equipment or ESPE’s.
The SAFE G1 & SAFE G2 by CM Manufactory are multi-functional safety relays for ESPE type 2 and type 4 that have selectable parameters and are ideally suited for E-Stop’s and safety gate monitoring ( 2 channels, 4 wire / 2 channels, 3 wire / 1 channel, 2 wire ) as well as for safety mats and edges. Both relays have 4 OSSD’s ( safety semiconductor outputs ) and are short circuit proof. The SAFE G1 has 3 NO direct and 1 NC direct outputs while the SAFE G2 has 4 NO direct outputs. Both relays are available with manual or automatic start.
Both the SAFE G1 & SAFE G2 utilize a compact housing with LED’s for status indication. Operating voltage is 24V DC with a 20ms fallback time and a MTTFd of 2403 years. Both the SAFE G1 & SAFE G2 have a protection rating of IP20 and can operate in temperatures of 0° C to +55 ° C.
