Norstat now offers a compact, Non-Contact Safety Switch designed for use with todays modern safety relays.
The MAGNASAFE MS-5 is a compact, non-contact safety switch that is available in either red ABS or Stainless Steel housings. These switches are fully encapsulated making them resistant to dust and dirt and an ideal solution for harsh applications as well as washdown conditions. The MS-5’s are easy to install and have a 7-10mm switching distance, making them very tolerant to misalignment as well as ensuring a long and trouble free operating life. All MAGNASAFE MS-5 switches are designed to be compatible with today’s modern safety relays.
The MAGNASAFE MS-5 has up to 2 NO safety outputs and 1 NC auxiliary output and run off of 24VDC/300MA. These switches are independently coded and provide a high degree of tamper resistance and each switch comes pre-wired with cable lengths of 3, 6 or 10 meters. The ABS version has a protection rating of IP 67 while the Stainless version has a rating of IP 69 K.
