Norstat now offers a Type 2 safety photocell with a M18 cylindrical metal body.
The ReeR ILION is a Type 2 safety photocell with a M12 cylindrical body that when connected to a control unit creates a protection system that can be composed of 1, 2, 3 or 4 single beam photocells with a range of 8 to 20 meters depending on the model. Their compact size makes it possible to fit these sensors into very small spaces providing maximum flexibility. Connections are made via a M12 5-pole connectors and can support unshielded cables up to 50 meter long.
The ILION has a minimum object detection of 12mm with a response time of 7ms. Output is PNP-100Ma with status signaling via an onboard LED. The ILION carries a protection rating of IP67 and operating temperature range of 0° C to+55° C making it an ideal solution for harsh environments or wet-down applications.
