Norstat now offers the MICRON Series of Light Curtains. This Light Curtain line from ReeR Safety is specifically designed for the measurement, detection, and recognition of objects in industrial or civil applications.
The Micron line of Light Curtains are designed for applications where it is necessary to detect, measure, or recognize objects or shapes. Depending on the number and position of the beams, the measurement sensors can provide real time information to a PLC or PC. These light curtains are able to perform counts, detect the positions or shape of an object as well as accurately measure the dimensions of an object. Configuration software for PC, with graphic user interface, is supplied with each light curtain. There are 5 versions of the Micron available including models with I/O link making the Micron the ideal solution for applications such as automated warehouses, conveyor belts, quality control verification, loop control or general detection and shape recognition.
