Norstat is expanding its pressure sensor offerings with the addition of the  new P.TOUCH PRESSURE SENSOR, the next generation of fluid sensor technology. 

The P. Touch series of pressure sensors enable reliable measurement of process pressures in industrial environments and are ideally suited for applications such as pressure monitoring in hydraulic systems, monitoring coolant supply or on an injection molding machine. The Touch’s innovative operating system functions through a longitudinally installed touch screen where a virtual scrolling wheel elevates these sensors to a completely new level in terms of simplicity and intuitive operation. The TFT display, rotatable by 350°, permits plain text display of the menu items in an easy to read, high resolution format making old, hard to decipher codes a thing of the past. With its “in line” M12 electrical connection and longitudinally arranged display the P-Touch can be installed in even the tightest of spaces. 

The stainless steel housing and geometrically protected glass display provide an extremely compact & robust design, and the absence of any mechanical operating elements ensures a high degree of freedom from wear and tear. The P. Touch can detect pressure ranges between 0 and 8700 Psi, is available in I/O Link versions and has protection ratings of IP65, IP67 and IP68.
